Common opposition candidate Maithripala Sirisena is going to exclude the national question.
Sirisena who met media heads said that his priority is abolishing the Executive Presidency and making urgent constitutional changes
He said that it will be the responsibility of the new parliament that would be formulated subsequent to the presidential election to look in to the Tamil qustion.
Sirisena said that although the joint opposition has had talks with the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) they have not signed any agreement with them .
Maithripala Sirisena is scheduled to visit the North for campaigning.
