Colombo, April 25 (Daily Mirror) - Conducting coaching or tuition classes aiming at the 2023 (2024) G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination aspirants will be prohibited from April 30 till the date where the exam is concluded, the Department of Examinations said. Colombo, April 25 - Upul Shantha Sannasgala, the popular tutor and author who was arrested by the Kandana Police today in connection with an alleged fraud, has been released on bail. The Welisara Magistrate's Court ordered his release. Sannasgala was arrested by the Kandana police in response to accusations levelled against him by an individual who claims that he (Sannasgala) failed to return Rs. 1 million, which was reportedly obtained from him.

Colombo, April 25 (Daily Mirror) - The Sri Lanka Electricity Bill, which includes proposed electricity sector reforms was presented to Parliament by Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara a short while ago.
